Founded in 1961, DCSA has participated in cable transport systems development. DCSA is a long-time partner of ski lift operators and manufacturers. Approved by the French public transportation administration, DCSA participates on all types of equipment and facilities, standard or customized, brand new or renovated with recovered materials. DCSA offers its professional expertise, experience, and practice to serve its customers.

With nearly 50 years of experience, DCSA has upgraded its know-how thanks to the diversity of studies and cases followed.

Most projects carried concern ski areas, but also through the urban and industrial infrastructures. Quality certification ISO 9001 confirms the reliability of DCSA to serve its expertise.

DCSA has supported French ski resorts development. Today, DCSA designs and installs projects worldwide.

1961

Denis Creissel began his career in 1958 with Lora Totino to work on a duplication of the cable railway of the “Aiguille du midi”(Chamonix-France).  He launched his own engineering consulting company in 1961 : DCSA, for Denis Creissels SA. Creation of cable transport engineering and management profession.

1967

Construction of Telescaphe in Marseille (France), a ropeway / submarine diving (lift) allowing to visit seabed.

1983-1984

Construction of the first “DMC” (double single cable), the “Pontillas” in Serre-Chevalier (France), with Pomagalski. The technology with 2 carrying-hauling ropes allows a better wind resistance and long ranges and no limit overflights.

1990

Total renovation of the two sections of “Aiguille du Midi” (Chamonix-France) ropeway with 50% of hourly capacity increase.

2015

Noël BLANDON hands over DCSA to Christophe TAMBOURIN and Christophe BOTTOLLIER executives in DCSA over 15 years.

1962

Denis Creissel followed several projects of classic ski lifts as project manager. Such as SCIA chairlift, in Saint Pierre de Chartreuse and many others lifts in Vars (France).

1981

Construction of “Cime Caron”, cable car in Val Thorens (“téléphérique”), highest lift at that time, with 2 cabins of 151 passengers each.

1989

Construction of the first “DMC-Funitel” in Val Thorens (France), the “Peclet”. This technology, based on DMC technology allows an excellent resistance to cross wind thanks to a large gap of the carrying – hauling ropes.

1995

Denis Creissels hands overs DCSA to his successor and transmits the company to Noel Blandon.

Construction of the first detachable grip chairlift with technology double loading system (DLS), “TSD6 des Cascades”, in Val Thorens (France).

2016

DCSA is qualified Independent Technical Controller for Electrical and Electronical sectors.
